Recycled Skateboards! That’s right, your new favourite sunglasses were proudly made here in Canada from recycled skateboards. Each pair came from 7 layers of solid skateboard maple wood veneer that had a totally unique backstory. Making each pair a one of a kind.
This is our signature style frame, which comes in two sizes and this is the large size. Custom made just for you! You choose the frames you want, the lenses you need and then we create them for you. Turnaround time is roughly 1 week so you can get them in your hands quickly!

Travel cases created from Canadian billboards lined with a soft dead stock fabric.
Water resistant finish
Sunglasses lenses are polarized UV400 protected.
Stainless steel flexible hinges. Nice and comfortable for everyone, no pinched temples.

Process
Everything Starts with a Broken Skateboard
I make small batches of wooden glasses here in Canada from broken and recycled skateboards that have been deemed completely unridable and donated from shops and individuals from all around North America.
The build process is only as fast as our hands can move and small details matter, the amount of machine time, hand sanding and finishing takes a certain mindset, luckily I love it!

I think they’re super cool, and plan on getting another pair to give to someone I love. I do have a bone to pick about the hinge on the left arm though. It doesn’t sit in the recessed spot that great, and the hole made by that little screw is stripped out. Arm literally fell off, I fixed the issue and my prescription lenses will be in them tomorrow. Peace ✌️
